Regional Key Account Manager

BIA HCS is looking for a Regional Key Account Manager for a company specializing in medicines, vaccines, diagnostics, and biopharmaceuticals for animals. 

Responsibilities:

  • The person in role is required to develop mutually beneficial and productive long-term partnerships with our key customers from Romania, Bulgaria and Moldova and to maintain these relationships with the appropriate quantity & quality of activity.
  • Investigates customers need and wants.
  • Suggests innovative ways of increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Grows the customer’s product usage by using technical and business
    knowledge.
  • Collaborates with Sales, Marketing and Technical teams of Zoetis and our distributors’.
  • Identifies commercial opportunities through networking of the different stakeholders.
  • Is in daily contact with KA, KOL or other stakeholders from different areas (e.g. Universities, specialty organizations or associations, etc.).
  • Identifies key accounts, key influencers, and key decision makers through a good analysis of the market.
  • Organizes round table meetings, workshops, presentations, symposia in collaboration with the Sales, Marketing and the Technical teams of Zoetis and our distributors’.
  • Participates in selected veterinary industry events (Congresses, Conferences, etc)
  • Finds innovative ways to engage with the key customers: digital campaigns, etc. together with distributors.
  • Offers support, training and coaching to our distributor teams.
  • Delivers at least agreed sales targets, growth, and market share gains for specified product brands.
  • Keeps abreast of industry and market trend and best practices
  • Maintains high standards of business conduct and compliance, adhering particularly to Pharmacovigilance Policy, Global and local vet Policy, Zoetis values, travel & expenses policy and local codes of practice.
  • Delivers technical training and coaching to distributor teams that is consistent and compliant with Zoetis practices.
  • Ensures adequate understanding and knowledge transfer on products and diseases.

 

Requirements:

  • University Degree in Veterinary Medicine
  • At least 3 years previous working experience in a similar role and at least 3 years of experience in the poultry industry in relevant roles (the candidate needs to have a strong understanding of relevant production systems and customer environment)
  • Is customer focused.
  • Sales driven person: Has a good eye for commercial opportunities and a sound business mind.
  • Strong veterinary/clinical and production-system knowledge 
  • Ability to provide high-quality technical consultation: case assessment, differential diagnosis/problem solving, and evidence-based recommendations.
  • Strong communication, influencing skills.
  • Builds successful and effective relationships.
  • Able to retain and recall product information to a detailed level.
  • Ability to simplify and communicate clearly on highly technical issues.
  • A strong focus on planning, and a balance of tactical planning with day-to-day operational requirements.
  • Ability to work independently but also a good team player.
  • Drive and resilience, demonstrated with a persistent, never give up attitude.
  • Confidence, likability, and an authoritative personality.
  • Stakeholder management – effective at using stakeholders as resources.
  • Excellent knowledge of sales analysis and metrics.
  • Hands on experience with CRM software. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • High level of diplomacy, negotiating skills but constructive assertiveness in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated motivation and focus on achieving measurable, tangible results.
  • Good level of English language (must understand and express him/herself verbally and in written)
  • Willingness to keep learning.
  • High degree of analytical and tactical thinking
