Responsabilitati:

BIA HR is looking for a Controlling and Reporting  Officer – Project based  for one of its clients, a multinational company. The Controlling and Reporting Officer will report to the Financial Manager and will cooperate with the Group's CFO.

Role: The Controlling and Reporting Officer manages, oversees and holds the end responsibility for the following activities: accounting, controlling, reporting. He/she supports the Management Company in taking business decisions through the integration and analysis of financial and non-financial information.

Location: Bucharest

Responsibilities:

-Plays an active and significant role in the development and optimization of the business and ensures the effective and accurate operations of the Finance & Accounting function;

-Prepares the monthly, quarterly and annual  Financial Reports (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement and all others recurring financial reporting ) RAS and IFRS;

-Prepares and interprets all operating results, prepares annual budgets and administers forecasts for monthly reports;

-Performs investment analyses and provides recommendation for new investments;

-Operates and propels a change in the way finance as a function operates, supporting its move to being a business driver with a focus on cost optimization, control and reduction, and profit management and optimization;

-Cooperates with the management team and the F&A team ensuring they are fully, timely and adequately informed of the financial performance of the Company, in line with the  format and structure of the reporting packages of the parents/shareholders company.

-Implements financial audit and control mechanisms on a continuous basis to monitor the performance of the business, its flow of funds, the adherence to the budget, the expenditures, the income, the cost of sales as well as other budget matters;

-Plays a key role in implementing a new accounting/ERP software;

-Maintains rigorous financial controls;

-Ensures that all reporting standards are met or exceeded;

-Offers full support to operational departments,  supervises the accuracy and timely  performance measurement  system of the operational departments;

-Ensures the treasury policies including working capital and operational cycle optimisation;

-Ensures the accounting and reporting is prepared in accordance with applicable legislation while also ensuring management reporting meets internal company procedures and policies. Looks for opportunities to enhance and improve existing reporting tools and methodologies

-Ensures the compliance of business operation with Romanian Fiscal Code, proactively proposes tax management measures in order to benefit from legal fiscal facilities.

-Assumes responsibility in managing ad hoc projects from a financial perspective.

Cerinte:

-Bachelor degree (accounting, finance or IT);

-Relevant experience in reporting and business controlling between  3 to 5 years;

-Experience and knowledge of taxation requirements;

-Ability to interpret principles, theories, and concepts of finance and accounting(Romanian Accounting  Standards and IFRS) on a broad basis;

-Good English language skills (written and spoken);

-Very good operating skills in Excel and any ERP and accounting software;

-Extensive experience with ERP/ accounting software implementation;

-Ability  to translate business requirements towards IT for further enhancement and optimization;

-Good understanding of the production  business (preferably);

-Great sense of accuracy, eye for details without losing sight of the broader picture;

-Excellent communication and presentation skills to both peers and (senior) management;

-Can work in close relationship with other functions in the company such as production, logistics, sales, marketing, etc.

-Excellent organizational & analytical skills;

-True people manager & motivator, is close to the staff (preferably);

-Effective decision-maker who stands by the decisions made;

-Pro-active and innovative in approach and recommendations towards solutions, with strong orientation towards the operations of the Company;

-Good understanding of efficiency and client satisfaction measurement indicators (BPIs, KPIs).
