Do you enjoy nursing children? We have an exciting opportunity for you. We are recruiting a School Nurse for one of our clients, an important international private school in Bucharest, an institution with high standards and an English speaking environment.
You will offer services in the following areas:
- Be the first point of contact for students, parents or school staff needing health advice or information. This involves assessing individual needs, offering care and treatments, and referring on to other services as necessary;
- Support students with ongoing or specific health needs. This may include children with complex health needs or a learning and/or physical disability;
- Initiate and support activities for promoting health across the school. These public health activities include contributing to Personal, Social and Health Education delivery, working with the school to achieve the Healthy School Standard and advising on whole school programmes to address particular issues, e.g. sexual health, smoking, drugs, drinking and healthy eating;
- Ensure that school procedures relating to Health issues are updated regularly.
Cerinte:
Consider yourself a good fit for this position if you:
- Possess a current license to practice professional nursing;
- Have experience as a professional registered nurse;
- Have knowledge of health curriculum and methods of health instruction for children;
- Are proficient in English;
- Are intuitive and able to offer a smile, a shoulder to cry on and a competent advice to children, their families or carers;
- Have very good verbal and non-verbal communication skills;
- Show respect, sensitivity and empathy towards children, parents and their carers;
- Pay attention to details.
