Responsabilitati:
For our client, a multinational company acting in retail industry, we are recruiting a FINANCIAL CONTROLLER.
Responsabilitati:
-Support month-end and year-end closing process;
-Research technical accounting issues for compliance;
-Ensure quality controls over financial transactions and financial reporting;
-Ensure compliance with Local, IFRS, Group Accounting Manual and internal reporting requirements;
-Support in preparation of monthly consolidated IFRS and Local GAAP reporting, following the Group Accounting Manual and Closing Instructions, as well the Local GAAP Standards;
-Support in preparation and submission of statutory financial statements and others statistics reporting;
-Active support during the external audit process;
-Develop and document business processes and accounting policies in order to maintain and strengthen internal controls;
-Analyze actual operating results and identify key financial and operating issues to be addressed; quantify actual results versus prior periods/forecast/budget;
-Identify and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets;
-Monitor performance and quality of result data, plan for improvements
-Additional controller duties as necessary.

Cerinte:
-University degree in Finance or Economics;
-Able to apply knowledge to complex projects and processes;
-Good communication and persuasion skills;
-Ability to work and communicate with colleagues across all parts of the organization and with senior management;
-A critical and analytical mindset, with an eye for detail and accuracy;
-Team player with a hands-on mentality;
-Advanced knowledge of MS Office with focus on Excel, Power Point, Outlook;
-Strong planning & organisation skills, prioritisation and time management;
-The ability to understand and analyze complex problems;
3+ years relevant experience;
-Fluent in English.
